GeM (Government e-Marketplace) is highly responsive and completely open for improvement.

The volume of calls does not give an impression of being open, but the fact is that GeM is already on Version 4.0 which is the fourth version with the new versions better than previous.

There is one major problem in GeM (Government e-Marketplace). Fake manufacturers, agents, resellers, commission agents, middlemen, representatives and such other traders just take screenshots of products already listed by OEMs and Trademark holders on GeM (Government e-Marketplace) and they register themselves as resellers putting much less price. The OEM gets masked.

The second is a parallel industry of fake manufacturers, agents, resellers, commission agents, middlemen, representatives and such other traders who pay to “service providers” to get registered with fake products or cloned products.
